You may have noticed the Maintenance Plans option in SQL Server Management Studio or maybe you have already setup a maintenance plan. In this webcast we are going to cover how to use maintenance plans and the various features that are available. We will cover what maintenance tasks should be in place for your SQL Servers such as index maintenance, backups, integrity checks, clean-ups, etc... We will look at how to setup scheduling, notifications, reporting and more. We will also talk about some of the limitations of maintenance plans and when it is a better idea to use other options for maintaining your databases.
