SQL Server 2008 and Flash Storage: High Availability with Database Mirroring

(this is an on-demand video)

Sponsored by - Fusion-io

Webcast Abstract

Flash adoption with SQL Server is growing rapidly. Fusion-io has shipped over 20 petabytes of flash since they began delivering ioDrives. The most common usage model moves the process-critical SQL Server data from the SAN to the server, eliminating latencies and decreasing response times. In this web seminar, we will show how to setup high-availability for a SQL Server using database mirroring. This technique does not require shared storage and allows one to provide high performance benefits of flash in a highly available configuration.
