Configuring SQL Server for Best Performance

Quest sponsored on-demand webinar

Webcast Abstract

When it comes to configuring SQL Server, it's a three part process consisting of picking the hardware (physical or virtual), installing the software, then changing configuration settings based on what you know (or think you know) about the workload you plan to support. We're going to look at all three of these areas in this presentation, but we'll spend extra time on post-install changes because those are things that you can most easily change and perhaps are easiest to miss, but can make a big impact on SQL Server performance.
