Bala Narasimhan is Group Product Manager for Cloud SQL. Bala has spent his entire career in enterprise software both as a developer and a product manager. He started dabbling in databases at Oracle and then became a founding engineer and product manager at ParAccel building a massively parallel data warehouse with a PostgreSQL interface. Bala has also spent time at Salesforce.com and Nutanix.
Mohamed Kabiruddin is a Senior Product Manager working on Cloud SQL for SQL Server. He is passionate about data and spent several years working with databases, data warehouses, analytics products and related technologies. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Mohamed worked in Google’s Core Informational Retrieval team focusing on Search and vector embeddings. He also worked in Microsoft Azure SQL product team before Google.
Asaf Lev is a Product Manager for Google’s Database Migration Service (DMS), where he focuses on helping customers navigate the complexities of moving their databases to Google Cloud. He is particularly passionate about the challenges and solutions involved in heterogeneous migrations, which involve transitioning between different database engines. Prior to leading the product, he was a Customer Engineering Manager at Google. His deep expertise is built upon a long career at Oracle, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the database industry.
