Overview
In this section we will cover questions like: what is the best recovery model for the master database.
What recovery model should the SQL Server master database have and can the recovery model be changed?
The master database ships in simple recovery model and that is generally acceptable. Since the data rarely changes and the database is backed up daily adding point in time recovery is not necessary.
