There are three Microsoft certifications available for SQL Server 2008. In this tip we look at available resources for each of the different certifications: Database Administrator, Database Developer and Business Intelligence Developer.
There are three tracks for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 certifications. As a result you should take different exams to become a certified Microsoft SQL Server DBA, Developer or BI expert. Additionally there are specific exams which allow you to upgrade your certifications from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008.
Below is an outline of resources for each track.

Please note that the SQL Server 2005 exams have been retired on June 30, 2011.
