Join us for our new learning SQL series. This is a progressive course that will help you learn how to best use SQL.

This session explores a core concept in SQL Server: combining data from multiple related tables using various JOIN types. Webinar participants will learn how to:

  • use INNER JOIN for matching records
  • leverage LEFT/RIGHT OUTER JOIN for finding unmatched rows
  • employ FULL OUTER JOIN for comprehensive datasets, and
  • understand when to use CROSS JOIN for Cartesian products.

The session includes many practical examples of multi-table JOINs, self-joins, and some advanced techniques. Subquery joins, the importance of proper JOIN conditions and performance considerations will also be discussed using examples from the AdventureWorks2025 database.
