Tim Ford is a Senior Database Administrator for Spectrum Health Hospital System. He has been working with Microsoft SQL Server in the capacity of either a Developer or DBA since 1999. Tim also has experience as an Oracle DBA, Microsoft Office developer, Systems Engineer, and Web Developer. He is the owner of Ford-IT consulting and author of SQL-centric technical articles. Tim has been a volunteer leader within the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) since 2002 and presents their annual Quizbowl event in addition to serving on their Programming Committee and Editorial Committee. He is also the leader of the recently-formed West Michigan SQL Server Users Group (WMSSUG.org). Tim enjoys spending time with his family: wife Amy, and two sons Austen and Trevor. In his free time he can be found playing XBOX (gamertag T1M1NATOR) or Wii, noodling around on his guitar, fostering his digital photography hobby, playing tennis, or just lounging around the yard with a book.
