2015 was a great year for the MSSQLTips.com community and our dedicated team
of authors who provide value to the SQL Server Community every second of the
day. For our second annual Author
and Rookie of the Year, Authors that had at least 10 published tips
qualified for the Author of the Year and new authors in 2015 that had at least 5
published tips qualified for the Rookie of the Year. In
2015 we had 4 new authors in the running for Rookie of the Year and 13 authors
in the running for Author of the Year. We had 7 returning authors (Aaron, Cate,
Dallas, Jeffrey, Koen, Scott and Tim) who also qualified in 2014.
Voting was conducted by the community in 2015, the votes were
scrutinized in early January 2016 and the winners were selected for each award
based on one vote per unique IP address per day. This was a very close
race with tens of thousands of votes. After the votes were meticulously calculated, the
winners of the MSSQLTips.com 2015 Author and Rookie of the Year are:
On behalf of the community, we would like to congratulate Scott, Ghanesh and
all the authors that qualified for these awards. All of the author
contributions are valued by the community and we look forward to many more
contributions by all of our authors and all new 2016 authors. "Thank you"
