2021 was an exciting year on MSSQLTips.com with the team demonstrating perseverance
and growth. A total of 82 professionals contributed to making 2021 a success and
we are very proud of each and every accomplishment by all of the MSSQLTips.com Authors.
We are excited to announce the eighth annual MSSQLTips.com Author and Rookie of
the Year. In 2020, we made a few changes including splitting the Author of the Year
into four categories - DBA, Developer, Business Intelligence and Cloud Professionals.
We also included new ways for Authors to garner votes with additional community
promotions, impactful ideas and more. Authors that had at least 10 published tips
qualified for the Author of the Year and new authors in 2021 that had at least 5
published tips qualified for the Rookie of the Year.
Please congratulate the contenders and winners in the form below! All of these
authors deserve significant recognition for all of their contributions and we encourage
all of the authors to take it to the next level to provide the community with even
more beneficial content in 2022!
Based on the community, peer and leadership voting for Author of the Year and
Rookie of the Year, we are pleased to announce the 2021 winners. As a first
time ever, we have a tie for the Rookie of the Year!
On behalf of the community, we would like to congratulate Joe, Nai, Kenneth,
Ron, Andrea, Hristo and all the authors that qualified for these awards. All of
the author contributions are valued by the community and we look forward to many
more contributions by all of our authors and all new 2022 authors. "Thank you" on
behalf of the global SQL Server community.
